Slumber 2 Setup Guide

Step 03 · Bluetooth

Connect by Bluetooth

1. Turn on the Slumber 2 remote. Slide its switch to ON. Check for the BT light flashing red and blue.
2. BT light not flashing?

   Enter pairing mode. Press BT, then hold BT for 3 seconds. Press the combined White Noise / BT button to select BT, then hold it for 3 seconds.

3. Select “Avantree Slumber 2” on your device. Open Bluetooth settings. The BT light turns solid blue.
   Watch phone connection

Connected: The Slumber 2 BT light is solid blue.

If not: Open “BT light not flashing?” above and enter pairing mode.

Step 04 · Phone audio

Play audio from your phone

Start here when the Slumber 2 BT light is solid blue.

1. Open an audio app on your phone. Choose Music, YouTube, Podcasts, or a sleep-sound app.
2. Choose a track and tap Play in the app.
3. Select Slumber 2 as the audio output. On iPhone, open Control Center. Tap the playback destination button and select Avantree Slumber 2.
   Using another device?

   Select Avantree Slumber 2 in your device’s audio-output settings. A Bluetooth transmitter sends audio from its connected source.

Done: Your app’s audio plays through Slumber 2.

No sound? Check the mode, audio output, and both volume controls →

Want the 20 built-in sounds? Choose built-in sleep sounds. No phone is needed.

Step 05 · Bluetooth

Adjust volume

1. Set phone media volume to 80–100%. This helps prevent missing words and cut-off audio.
2. Lower listening volume with the Slumber 2 remote wheel. Turn toward − for quieter audio or + for louder audio.

Done: Audio is clear and comfortable while lying down.

If not: No sound → · Too quiet → · Audio cuts out →

Final check

Place Slumber 2 for comfort

• Need more volume? Place Slumber 2 on top of the pillow, near your ear.
• Too loud? Place Slumber 2 inside the pillowcase.
• For comfort: Face the zipper down.

You can also use Slumber 2 directly as your pillow.

Done: Lie down and check that audio is clear and comfortable.

If not: Check low volume or contact support.

Step 03 · Built-in sounds

Play built-in sleep sounds

1. Slide the Slumber 2 remote power switch to ON.
2. Select White Noise mode. On Version A, press the White Noise button. On Version B, press the combined White Noise / BT button. The White Noise light should turn solid white.
3. Choose a sound. Press the next-track or previous-track button.
4. Change playback pattern

   Optional: Hold the Version A White Noise Version B White Noise / BT button for 2 seconds to cycle ordered, single-repeat, and shuffle playback.

Done: the White Noise light is solid white and a built-in sound plays without a phone.

No sound? Turn up the Slumber 2 remote wheel and try another track. If it is still silent, contact support.

Step 03 · AUX

Connect with AUX

1. Unplug the Slumber 2 remote from the pillow speaker.
2. Insert the Slumber 2 speaker plug fully into your device’s 3.5 mm audio output. Use AUDIO OUT, not AUDIO IN.

3. Play audio and adjust volume on the connected device.

Done: audio plays from both sides of Slumber 2.
