Fix a problem

Choose what you see or hear.

Auracast Assistant is missing

Problem: Auracast Assistant is absent from More, or Find a broadcast is absent from Home.

Possible cause: The assistant may be off, or your app, hearing-aid configuration, or model may differ.

Try this: For ampli-mini AI or ampli-mini 6G, check More for Auracast Assistant and switch it on. Return Home. If the option is absent, ask your Amplifon hearing care professional to confirm the correct app, hearing-aid firmware, and Auracast availability.

Result: Find a broadcast appears on Home. If it does not, get model-specific help from Amplifon before continuing.

My broadcast is not listed

Problem: The Amplifon hearing-aid app shows SEARCHING… without the desired broadcast.

Possible cause: The transmitter may not be broadcasting, or the hearing aids may be out of range.

Try this: Check the intended transmitter is on and actively broadcasting Auracast. Move closer, return Home, and tap Find a broadcast again.

Result: The transmitter name appears. Select that name. If still absent, contact Avantree for an Avantree transmitter or Amplifon for hearing-aid support.

Connected but no sound

Problem: The Amplifon hearing-aid app shows Auracast controls, but you cannot hear the selected broadcast.

Possible cause: The source may be silent, the Auracast volume may be low, or the wrong broadcast may be selected.

Try this: Play known audio at the source. Raise Auracast volume gradually and confirm the correct broadcast was selected. If needed, move closer and search again.

Result: You hear the source in your hearing aids. If still silent, contact support with the transmitter name and screenshots.

Room sound is too loud

Problem: Background sound competes with the Auracast broadcast in your Amplifon hearing aids.

Possible cause: The Surroundings level may be too high relative to Auracast.

Try this: On the connected Home screen, set a comfortable Auracast volume, then lower Surroundings as needed. Stay aware of important sounds around you.

Result: The broadcast is easier to hear. Ask your hearing care professional if the balance remains uncomfortable.

The broadcast disconnects

Problem: Audio stops after your Amplifon hearing aids join an Auracast broadcast.

Possible cause: You may have moved out of range, or the transmitter may have stopped broadcasting.

Try this: Move closer, check the transmitter is still broadcasting, then use Home → Find a broadcast and select the transmitter again.

Result: Audio resumes. If interruptions continue nearby, ask Amplifon to check your hearing-aid setup; contact Avantree for transmitter help.
